The mobile appts. has a vibration production unit (2) which sets the travel path in vibration (5) and is equipped with a photographic system (9), enabling observation of the earth surface in accordance with the principle of holographic interferometry. The vibrations are produced by the drive engine of the appts., pulse generator or a separate appts. The mobile appts. is propelled on wheels or by endless chain drive. The photographic system (9) has active illumination (8) by means of a laser beam source with coherent, monochrome light. It works with short time lighting with illumination times of 10 to 40 ns, by means of a pulse-driven laser or even by a high speed video system, with a time rate of less than 100 ms. USE - To detect and/or make visible mines laid in earth surface.
