The oven is partially coated on the inside with an enamel layer comprising a spectrally selective substance (I) which is refelctive w.r.t. radiation. The (I) is e.g. sprayed onto the enamel powder layer and fired together with the enamel. (I) is an electroconductive metal oxide, esp. SnO2. USE/ADVANTAGE - The walls of the oven are insulated in the direction of the surrounding insulation, reducing energy consumption. The reflective coating passes visible light, and avoids a mirror effecto
