The shoulder-pad has a core (12) on the top of which is a covering (18). The sleeve-side edge (24) of the top covering (18) is sewn to a sleeve-section (26) and is fastened to the core at a distance (a) from its sleeve-side end surface (16) so that it can flap up and out. The top covering and sleeve-section are made of different materials. The top covering sticks up above the core edge (14) going round between the two ends of the core end surface. The underside of the core has a cover (22).
