A plaster additive has the following compsn. 15-40 wt.% starch sugar, 5-15 wt.% napthalene- or melamine-formaldehyde condensate, 10-40 wt.% casein, 10-30 wt.% dextrin, 3-10 wt.% fruit acids, 5-15 wt.% air pore stabiliser, 5-25 wt.% boric acid or borax and 5-20 wt.% soda and/or sodium bicarbonate. The additive pref. also contains 1 wt.% zinc stearate. ADVANTAGE - The additive makes the plaster easier to use, and it can be used on old buildings or monument
