Transport system for cops and tubes - utilises flexible stub plates on the spinning frame which superimpose on baseplates suitable for the winder

A transport system is arranged on an installation of ring spinning frames and winding machines, so that full cops are directed towards the winders, and empty tubes are returned to the spinning frame. This transport system is made up of conveyors and has round plates with a central stud, to hold tubes or cops. If the stud plates accompanying each machine are incompatible, an intermediary system is arranged, which has adaptors to accept the plates from one type of machine for use on the other, and a reversal to complete the circulation. ADVANTAGE - The adaptor mechanism is more economical to install than to replace a whole system on one of the machines.
