Lift for foundations affected by mining subsidence - uses hollow open space in foundations, and hydraulic ram to press bulk material under space and foundations

The machine is used to raise foundations (3) in areas, which are liable to subsidence caused by mining. A hollow space (5) is created in the foundations. The space is open at the bottom, and has a filler opening (8) for bulk material. The device consists of a hydraulic ram (6). This is supported at the top against the foundations, and at the bottom on the ground, which also supports the foundations. The filler opening extends into the hollow space, so that the bulk material can slip under the ram. USE/ADVANTAGE - Unlimited raising of foundations and support during lifting to compensate for mining subsidence.
