Appts. for treating moist contaminated waste air includes an air cooling station (26) located in a housing (1), the novelty being that a moisture removal station is located downstream of the cooling station (26) within the housing (1). Pref. the housing (1) also has a scrubbing station (27), a storage container (20) for the cooling and/or scrubbing liq. and an air neutralising station (28). USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is esp. useful for treating waste air from chemical treatment processes, esp. electroplating and pickling operations, and from laundries. It provides efficient cleaning even of lightly contaminated air and has a simple and compact design.
