Antiinflammatory agents (I) are produced by inducing a cutaneous allergic reaction, collecting the fluid secreted in the course of the immediate reaction, and opt. freeze drying the fluid or storing it at low temp. The allergic reaction is pref. induced by injection with anti-IgE antibodies. USE - (I) are capable of inhibiting delayed hypersensitivity reactions and may be used to treat all inflammatory and immunological disorders currently treated with corticosteroids, e.g. asthma, arthritis, skin disorders and chronic hepatitis
