Mobile cleaning plant for paint containers - has solvent wash tank, solvent regenerating plant and scrap press

Empty containers (3) partic. empty paint tins, are cleaned chemically for recycling by a mobile cleaning plant (20) which is transported to the end user. The containers (3) can be shredded or compressed. The plant (20) can regenerate used solvents and can be at least partially driven by compressed air. Pref. a commercial vehicle chassis (10) carries a solvent wash plant (5) and a solvent regenerating plant (6). Emtpy containers (3) are fed via a holding tank (1) to be washed and are then moved by a conveyor (14) to a scrap press (7). A compressor (8) provides the power supply. Tanks (9a, 9b, 9c) contain used solvent, clean solvent and separated contaminants respectively. USE/ADVANTAGE - The invention is economically advantageous for dealing with empty paint or printing ink containers.
