A porous sintered graphite cylindrical body in a tightly sealed cylindrical vessel has a layer of conductive material vapour-deposited on one end and soldered to outgoing cables. A non-return valve is installed at one end of the vessel. Water entering the inlet valve is sucked rapidly into the filter, creating a vacuum and cooling effect. Water of crystallisation is heated by reaction and expelled by DC applied to the electrodes. USE/ADVANTAGE - For domestic, vehicular or industrial purposes, coolers or air-conditioners of all kinds can be produced at low cost.
