The press consists of an upper and a lower separate endless steel band (1) driven around rollers, and hot plates.Where the upper and lower bands come together (3), a coolant is sprayed onto them under pressure through jet nozzles. The coolant is applied through impregnated cloth, fabric, felt or sponge.It is typically applied to the inlet section of a feed throat for the bands.
