Dust is removed from a dust filter plant with a dust outlet (11) from the last dust filter to a tubular chain conveyor (17) on which discs (25) are regularly spaced, occupying the inside cross section of the tube. Filling level of the tube is measured at at least one point and the speed of the chain is regulated accordingly. ADVANTAGE - Avoids partial filling of the tube with detrimental effects on filtration.
