Cooking pot is mfd. from a deep-drawn stainless body (11) on the base (11b) of which a heat distribution coating (12) is applied, consisting of Al or Cu, a few MM thick. A surface coating (13) is stainless steel is then applied by plasma spraying; the coating is ground and polished together with the body.
