A supersonic fight body (1) having a seater head and an air intake combined at its forward end. The nose of the flight body (10) is sharply pointed and at its base where it joins the main body of the fuselage (2) has approximately half the fuselage diameter. A seater head window (13) is arranged behind the pointed nose, sloped downwards so that it forms the compression surface for the air intake. An air intake (15) is formed between the air intake lip (16) and the seater head window (13). ADVANTAGE - With the claimed design on flight body of seater head and air intake can be incorporated in favourable operating positions without causing too much air resistance and thereby reducing the flight body's range. The air intake is needed when an air breathing drive such as a ram-jet is used.
