Folding arrangement for filters made of non-woven fibres using fan-folded filter material in which an inward and outward folding arrangement of the edges provides a gas seal of folded filter when located within its surround. USE/ADVANTAGE - The filter requires no additional plasticised edging material on its upper face to provide a gas seal or strength within the surrounding structure, and the filter material remains undamaged by heat treatment associated with such edging material.
