The guide elements (11, 12) are situated between the separating vacuum (4) and the back stop position (16) of the transporter vacuum (5). These restrict the transport plane of the sheets at the top exert an injection action on the sheets. The guide elements consist of a guide plate (12) with recesses and associated air box on the side remote from the sheets. The outlet opening of the air box has a curved guide plate. The air box and guide plate are connected airtight on three sides. ADVANTAGE - Improved output with reduced wear by reducing the periodically moved masses of the sheet divider of a sheet feeder.
