The appts. averages a signal changing with respect to time, over equidistant and successive intervals of duration T. During the formation of the intervals average, the average formed from the previous interval of time, is output simultaneously. The signal, varying with respect to time, is fed to one input (1, 1) of an integrator (1) whose output (1, 3) is sampled by an element with a sample-and-hold function (2), working at a constant frequency f=l/T, according to the timer (3), and supplying at its output (2, 2) the average, also passed as negative feedback to the other input (1, 2) of the integrator.
