The heat exchanger (6), in addition to the air outlet (10) leading to the boiler burner (2), has an independent air outlet (29). The exchanger also in addition to an air inlet (9) for air from the free atmosphere outside the room in which the boiler is located, has an air inlet (28) fed with air from the room in which the boiler is located. To the independent air outlet (29) is fitted a ventilator (30) for sucking and compressing the air. The ventilator is temp. controlled from the interior of the heat exchanger (6). The tubes (20) within the heat exchanger (6) for collection of condensate are inclined. USE/ADVANTAGE - A heat exchanger with not only an air inlet leading to the burner of a boiler, but also such an inlet which makes possible the use of pre-heated air independently of the hot water boiler.
