The child's seat has a backrest and seat, with side walls, and is placed on a motor vehicle seat. A baby is fastened into the seat by the lap belt of the vehicle. The belt extends across the child's lap and the side walls, or through recesses between seat and backrest, or through a baffle body on the seat. The child's seat (1) may be moved between a front reclining position and a rear sitting position, by moving seat (2) and/or backrest (8).The child's seat or vehicle seat (4) have belt guides for the vehicle lap belt (13).
