The saw has two contra-reciprocating saw blades arranged side-by-side. They have toothed sections (35,36) and pivoting arm sections (33,34) which are connected by robust coupling rods (28,29) to each end (26,27) of a centrally pivoted rocking lever (22). One end (26) of the rocking lever is coupled by the connecting rod (30) to an eccentric pin (21) on the driven gear (18) of a motor drive. ADVANTAGE - Simple, robust and lightweight design. Has few parts and is easy to produce.
