The appts. to feed structured fabrics to a sewing station, where a fabric section with piles on both sides is followed by a plain woven section without piles, has a funnel-shaped opening to the twin-belt feed formed by two runners to take the fabric between them and the lower runner is rigid while the upper runner is on a spring suspension mounting. They define the transit at the pile edge from the pile zone to the pile-free zone in a step displacement. The narrow leading section passes through an angle to a curved section and the leading section is at a gap from the pile edge to come closer through the angled stretch and reaches the pile edge at the final cruved section, so that the pile edge lies against an edge of the runners.
