The relative movement of the stamp plate (6) with stamp type (11,10) is controlled by a guide device formed by one or more hinge elements (5). These connect one side (4) of the frame (3) with the stamp plate (6). The stamp type (11,19) are releasably fixed to the stamp plate, being magnetic at least on their rear side, whilst the stamp plate (6) is of magnetisable material. On the side of the stamp plate facing the frame (3) is a flat grid (7,16) in which the stamp type (11,10) are insertable. USE/ADVANTAGE - A stamping device with which an exact alignment of the stamp with the material to be printed is achievable.
