The insulating mats are connected with the outer housing across metal sheet webs provided with barbs, which are arranged at the inside of the outer housing. The insulating mats can also be connected to the outer housing using adhesive. The thermal insulation can result across individual mats. The outer housing consists of single metal sheets, at which respectively a single mat is fixed. Afterwards each single sheet with the single mat fixed on it, is connected with the inner housing of the domestic appliance. USE/ADVANTAGE - Domestic appliances, e.g. electric cookers or refrigerators. Particle insulation, e.g. glass wool is danger to operatives without wearing masks. With this type of thermal insulation risk to health is eliminated.
