Adaptive process for identification of multi degree of freedom systems - comparing responses of model and system compared to define function for each degree of freedom of system
The dynamic characteristic of a linear system is identified by applying an input signal (t) to both the system (1) and a model (2) of the system. The responses of the system (d) and the model (y) are compared and the difference (e) is fed back to adapt the model parameters. The system output is delayed by an element (3). For each degree of freedom of the multi degree of freedom system a loop is defined for which the model parameters are obtained. ADVANTAGE - Satisfies real time requirements.
