In the assembly to clean ground water by stripping with a gas, pref. air, the stripping gas is held under pressure over the injector tube (9) within the well tube (21) rising above the ground water level (GW). The well tube (21) is pref. a cylindrical tube with the water entry at its lower section (7a) with the water outlet (11) at the upper section (7b) below the sepn. zone (2) and above the ground water level (GW). The injector (9), coaxial to the well tube (21), opens under the ground water level (GW). The well tube (21) has a feed tube (7) with a mantle tube (12) of a larger dia. at the upper end (7b) of the feed tube (7). The water entry (6) is at the lower end (7a) of the feed tube (7) and the water outlet (11) is at the lower end (21a) of the mantle tube (12). The upper end (7b) of the feed tube (7) is secured to a cover (19) over the mantle tube (12) with water passages in its walls, or the upper end (7b) of the feed tube (7) is at a gap from the mantle tube (12) cover (19) for the water to pass into its open end (30). USE/ADVANTAGE - The technique is applied to remove light impurities from the well water by a gas which carries them away. The system has a highly effective cleaning action, in a simple assembly, with low energy requirements for the well operation.
