The video monitor has an image tube (B) supplied with the video signals via a cable. The obtained video display is directed to the eye of the user wearing the helmet (H) incorporating the monitor, via at least one deflection mirror (S). The latter can be adjusted precisely to suit the user via setting adjustments having three coupled plates allowing adjustment in perpendicular planes, under control of respective setting screws, acting against bias springs. USE - Allowing viewing of examined area displayed on monitor, without restricting normal field of view.
