The method is applied to control hydraulic or pneumatic actuators with a fluid reservoir for power switches. The fully charged reservoir has a volume sufficient to provide a complete off-on-off (OCO) cycle. Switching off all or several switches takes out the switch-off energy from the fully charged reservoir capable of one off-on-off cycle. After switching off, the reservoir is first compulsorily recharged if the reservoir pressure has reached or come close to a value at which an on and off switching is still possible. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for high and mid voltage applications. Gives priority to switching several switches back on after switching off and to shorten switching on process.
