Information memory system for traffic messages in motor vehicle - uses analogue memory module of limited capacity to store traffic messages received over radio link and with overwrite capability

An information storage memory (14) is used in a road vehicle to store relatively short messages that can be transmitted by a central control station as a radio signal (10). The circuit may be integrated into the vehicle radio. Messages are identified by start and end identifications. The circuit has a memory module (16) with input and output via amplifiers. The memory has limited capacity such that the oldest information is written over. The memory may be of an analogue type with digital recording control. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple means of storing received traffic messages.
