A cabin for screening electrostatic and electromagnetic fields consists of a base plate, a cover plate and several side wall elements. One of the side wall elements contains an entry aperture (5). The entry aperture can be closed by a rolling door (6) which can be moved perpendicularly w.r.t. the side wall element (4) contg. the aperture. The rolling door contains rollers which move on rails (7) and has a tilt prevention mechanism. USE/ADVANTAGE - Optimal HF screening in region of entry aperture. Protects from communication lines, meteorological phenomena, auxiliary effects from human hand engaged in prodn. process, e.g. galvanising or through movement of ferromagnetic masses, e.g. motor vehicle. Can also be used in reverse manner, e.g. to protect surroundings from fields produced from housed appts.
