To dispose of problematic liquid waste, it is initially stabilised in at least one pretreatment phase, with flocking, precipitation or adsorption. The liquid charged with stabiliser or adsorbents is filtered through a micro- or ultra-filtration assembly. Also claimed is an assembly with a feed (3) for the pretreatment media, and a micro- ultra-filtration stage. USE/ADVANTAGE - The method is for the disposal of liquids from the sepn. of oils and grease in washing plants for vehicles, machines and containers. The system gives an effective disposal where retained matter from filtration can be burned, and the liquid portion can be purified.
