The toothbrush has a handle (11) and a bristled (13) brush part (10) which has an extension (16) detachably joined to the handle. The brush part has a threaded fitment (18) screwing into the handle's internal thread (19). The outside of the handle has axial flat parts (24) and a transparent window. The handle is wider than the brush part and serves as storage container for toothpaste. That part of the container not facing the brush is closed by a piston (23) axially adjustable by means of a control (20,22) and which is positioned on an externally rotated threaded spindle (22) joined to a drive wheel (20) on its end facing away from the brush. An inlet duct (14) begins in the container and ends near the bristles. USE/ADVANTAGE - The easily manipulated toothbrush is easily spread with toothpaste contained in the handle and pressed out.
