The beam (4) swivels at one end on a vertical axle (5) and is slewed by hydraulic ram (6) to right or left. A number of double-bladed shares (7) are fixed at intervals along the beam. The height of the support wheel (15) at the free end of the beam is adjustable and runs along in the furrow (F). The direction taken by the wheel can be adjusted by a mechanism (22), depending upon the preselected working position of the beam, to run right or left of the furrow mound, at a distance from the area already ploughed. USE/ADVANTAGE - For reversible ploughs,with beam end near to the plough body holder with reduced weight at support frame.
