The connector has an outer thread on the first pipe with an outer shoulder (31) on the second pipe (3). The union nut has an inner thread and has an inner peripheral groove (12) for an elastic compression ring. The depth of the groove is about the size of the radius of the compression ring cross section. Behind the mating support surface (32) of the second pipe is a peripheral groove whose depth is greater than that of the one in the nut. The other end of the second pipe has an inner thread (36) and outer hexagonal nut faces (35) or might form a pipe connection to a vessel. ADVANTAGE - Increases the working life of the pipe connection and reduces the maintenance cost.
