The shelving unit has vertical, telescopic (4a,b) side bars (4) in which are holes (10) into which fits a hook (11) to which shelves are fixed. One end of the hook is bent at right angles (12), the other end fitting into a second hole has a horizontal insertion arm (16). The hook has an upper horizontal arm (13) with bent end (12) and leading into a middle arm (14) at right angles to it. The middle arm has at least one other bent part leading into the insertion arm which is bent slightly upwards, and has a wedge shaped tapered insertion end. Two hooks (11) are joined to an angled profile (18) near the middle arm (4). ADVANTAGE - Can be assembled in a variety of forms by having telescopic sides, and hooked attachments fitting into holes in the sides.
