The two axles of the bogie of a railway vehicle are connected by a link (1) made from epoxy resin which is reinforced with glass fibre. The link has a middle region (3) which is curved with a radius (R). This curved middle region is connected to the flat end regions (4) by curved regions (2) with a relatively small radius of curvature. The thickness of the bar in these transition regions is less than the thickness of the middle region or of the end region. This shape of link provides increased flexibility in both the longitudinal and vertical directions.
