The inner cover of the heat exchanger (1) is sealed against a closure part and against an exhaust gas channel wall part, whereby the closure part (8) is connected to via at least three bearing parts (9) with the exhaust gas channel wall part (6). The bearing parts are provided with slide surfaces (11) for the displaceable inner cover (4) and on the exhaust gas side between the inner cover of the heat exchanger and an exhaust gas bend (15) a ring gap (18) is provided. The displaceable inner cover of the heat exchanger is provided with a sealing ring (12).
