The brake press control provides antilocking regulation via magnetic valve (76, 77) associated with the wheel brakes (14, 16) and drive-slip regulation using a press setting device, the brake press regulation valves and an electrically operated function control valve (61). A sensor (49, 51) provides an output signal representing the required braking force, a second sensor (53) indicating the actual braking press in the rear braking circuit, with an electronic control (44) operating the function control valve and providing the control signals for the press setting device, with a required correlation between the brake press for the front wheel brakes and that for the rear wheel brakes. ADVANTAGE - Combined antilocking and drive slip regulation with higher braking force for rear wheels.
