The timepiece has respective minutes, hours and date hands (7,8,9) cooperating with minutes and hours scales (2,3) extending over 360 degrees, and a concentric date scale (5), having the same divisions as the minutes scale (3) and extending between the 1 and 31 minutes scale divisions. The minutes and date scales (3,5) may be combined, with the date zone of the minutes scale (3) having a different visual appearance to the remainder of the minutes scale (3). ADVANTAGE - Allows all three hands to rotate about same axis with easily read date indication.
