The damping mass (5) is connected to the housing (6) by a viscous fluid (7) and is connected to the sleeve (3) which encloses the rolling bearings (2), by an elastically deformable element (4). The bearing system is so arranged that the housing (6) encloses the viscous fluid (7) which encloses the elastic element (4) which surrounds the driving shaft (1) of the centrifuge rotor.
