The three-roll machine is for e.g. bending sheet metal into tubes with different diameters. It has a planetary gear on the drive side, a hinged bearing on the opposite side, two bottom rolls, and a removable top roll. The top roller (1) has an ejector cylinder (7) with piston (8) in an axial bore (11) on the drive side. The piston is charged with hydraulic pressure via a transverse bore (17). The planetary gear (3) has a pressure plate (18) to support the piston, while moving the top roll outwards. There are at least two support- and feeder rolls, located between top- and bottom rolls, and with a diameter adjusted to that of the top roll. ADVANTAGE - Top roll is axially pushed out of bearing, without using a crane.
