Chamfered edge grinding machine - has workpiece traversed in angled guideway with slit at bottom allowing contact with face grinding wheel mounted under guideway

On the base of the machine are angled guideways (4,5) in which the workpiece can be supported and traversed. In the bottom of the guideways is a longitudinal slit (6) through which the workpiece corner protrudes. Under the slits with the grinding face upwards is mounted a face grinding wheel whose height relative to the slits is adjustable. At the periphery the wheel is slightly bevelled and pref. the grinding surface is a replaceable abrasive paper ring. USE/ADVANTAGE - Chamfered edge grinding machine avoids formation of burr which must be removed by hand. Dressing of wheel is not required.
