The sheet metal box (1) is quadratic in cross-section and is open at the top and at the bottom, producing the flue effect, causing the fuel to glow once ignited. Ignition of the fuel is simple, using crumpled newspaper. The air for causing the fuel to glow is sucked through the cut-out on the front side of the sheet metal box, with the fuel located a few centimetres above the stand surface of the scoop. The scoop pivots only to the inside edge of the front side, since the two outer prongs are horizontally bent outwards. USE/ADVANTAGE - Clean and environmentally friendly ignition method for barbecue fuel, without use of chemical aids.
