摘要
Electric signals of a specified frequency are transmitted from selected electrodes (22-32), on a feed tube (10) in order to cure a rhythm disturbance. The setting of the pulse frequency is carried out in such a way, that the heart beat is maintained in the range of 30 to 180 beats per minute. The electrical signals have a current amplitude of 10 to 40 milliamperes and a pulse width of 10 milliseconds. An external electrode may be applied on the breast of the patient, to create a further current path for the ending of the rhythm disturbance. An imaging of the heart is carried out simultaneously with the ending of the disturbance, and a pacemaker function is then undertaken. USE/ADVANTAGE - For testing, imaging and stimulation of heart. Heart can be stimulated and simultaneously its behaviour studied.
