The electronic alarm system has a transmitter unit (2) that is fixed to the object (1) to be protected. Fixing may either be directly or can be integrated into the structure. Within the unit is a sensor (3) that responds to specific mechanical effects. The unit is battery powered (8) and when activated will generate a signal that is received (13) by a separate unit (5). The receiver provides a warning signal (7) in acoustic or optical form. A signal may also be transmitted to activate (12) the unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - for motorcycles, sports equipment e.g. skis, bike, surfboard. Allows warning to be transmitted to remote receiver.
