The airflow to the radial turbines of a wind generator is via several funnels of triangular, circular or rectangular cross-section. The larger inlet opening faces the wind and both this and the outlet opening may be adjusted in size. The diagonal or diameter of the inlet is larger than that of the outlet by a factor dependent on the mean wind speed over the course of a year as is the ratio of funnel length to inlet diameter. Two such funnels can be arranged with a wind turbine between them, one working with the upper turbine half, the other with the lower turbine half. ADVANTAGE - Increased output utilising Venturi effect on wind.
