The shower tray edge is made watertight against the strip (2.1) by sealing elements located between the lowest point of the drip lug (6) and the adjoining wall (4). When there is a tile covering the strip is fixed on same. The strip has a base (7) with flat back surface for fitting against the wall and a forwardly projecting hooked drip lug (6). A groove let in between the base and lug is used to hold a sealing profiled section such as a lip seal. The strip is made of a polymer-bonded pulverised mineral substance. USE/ADVANTAGE - The drip lug prevents the build up of moisture and substantially prevents mould from forming.
