The swivel mounted front seat has a rear connection piece (2) of the seat frame (3) attached to an adjustable swivel mounted guide (4). An adjustment and locking bar (5) beneath the seat is swivel mounted in a carrier and locking block (10). The bar can swivel about the block as the seat is tilted forwards until the guide (4) has moved from a horizontal to a near vertical position for the support of the seat. USE/ADVANTAGE - Tilting front seat in vehicle offers max. forward displacement of seat to allow greater freedom of access to rear seat.
