An elastic spring element (7) is arranged between the holder (6) and the fluid container (2) and is kept in a metastable condition. As the fluid runs out of the container, the spring becomes shorter and thus keeps fluid level in the container at a constant height. Alternatively, thr container can be directly attached to the holder, the holder being attached to the stand by a bearing. The spring in this case is compressed between the holder arm and a fixed part of the stand. As the fluid runs out, the spring relaxes and the fluid level is kept at a constant height. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in hospitals, nursing homes etc. Provides constant control of the volume flow rate and thus repeated checks are not necessary.
