Fuel injection arrangement for IC engine - has fuel distributor with two conduits connected to pressure intake, leading to main and pre-injection valves

The main injection valve introduces a set amt. of fuel into a combustion chamber. It also has a pre-injection valve for early injection of a small fuel volume. A fuel distributor (1) has two conduits (3,4,5), which are connected to a pressure intake (6). A first conduit (3) leads to the main injection valve, a second conduit (4) leads to the pre-injection piston (8,13). This is displaceable against a return spring (16) by the fuel pressure. A third conduit (5) leads to a discharge-sided vol. (17) of the pre-injection piston. USE/ADVANTAGE - Economical mfr. and perfect function of fuel injection arrangement for IC engine.
