Tubing has at least one inner pipe, a reinforcing layer, and an outer pipe. At least the outer pipe is of a vulcanisate of a rubber compsn. comprising a copolymer rubber (I) consisting of an isobutylene unit and a p-methylstyrene unit halogenated at the methyl gp. and/or a second copolymer rubber (II) consisting of an isobutylene unit, a p-methylstyrene unit halogenated at the methyl gp. and a p-methylstyrene unit. Pref. (I) is of formula (I) and (II) is of formula (II) where X = halogen. USE - Used for transporting coolant (claimed) or other liquids esp. in coding systems.
